Our Story
Meet Patrick & Ross
Our story is pretty much out of the millennial playbook.
While we met online in 2018, we like to think we could have easily met in the grocery store.
Our relationship grew over a love for food and restaurants.
When the pandemic limited our outings to porch pickups, we got creative.
We experimented with recipes on a small blog, Rustic Decor Guy, while working full-time jobs.
Patrick was a teacher, while Ross designed townhomes and custom homes for a private firm.
Once married in 2021, we focused our interest to expand the blog into a business.
Using the first initials of our names, Patrick & Ross, we let our home be the focal point for naming the new business, and so, our Front Porch and Rose Bush became known as Porch & Rose.
Together, as Porch & Rose,
We share a love for southern food, architecture, and home decor.
Together, we design and renovate single-family homes.
Together, we share tips for sprucing up your home, while crafting something delicious and rewarding at the end of the day.
